Westgate: A Neighbourhood Taking Shape
Since 2018, Blue Barn has proudly led the charge on this 1500-lot, multi-stage flagship development in Westgate, Auckland.
Spanning 42 hectares, we’ve delivered full civil and infrastructure design, major earthworks, external road upgrades, and end-to-end consenting and construction support. Our team has been hands-on across multiple stages — helping turn paddocks into a thriving, connected community.
It’s one of Auckland’s biggest residential developments — and we’re stoked to be building it from the ground up.
Captain Springs Road: From Vacant Land to Vital Logistics Hub
Blue Barn helped bring this 4-hectare site to life — transforming bare land into a fully consented, operational container storage yard.
Our team led large-scale earthworks design, erosion and sediment control, and crafted a detailed Stormwater Management Plan to keep everything flowing right. These elements were key in securing resource consents across multiple stages and unlocking the site’s development potential.

Hobsonville: Engineering a Growing Community
Since 2016, Blue Barn has helped shape Hobsonville into one of Auckland’s most dynamic residential hubs — delivering civil engineering services across five developments and over 500 new lots.
Our work has included everything from bulk earthworks and ground stabilisation to trunk water upgrades, new pump stations, gravity mains, and coastal rock revetments. We’ve also tackled complex infrastructure like palisade walls and key services — all with a focus on quality, resilience, and community growth.
